In The Search for Truth, Love is Found

Today, I had an idea for a foundation that would give LGBT kids, who wouldn't have the opportunity otherwise, a one-week internship with an urban professional. So, for example an 18-year old from Kernersville, whose hobby was fashion design, could take a trip and shadow a fashion designer in New York City for a week--all expenses paid.

I could make use of my contacts in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles and give kids a chance to see the big city and what's possible if they follow their truth. Perhaps they just might love themselves a little more, meeting and meshing with people like them.

The name, The Sol Foundation. The meaning, we'll save that for later. But, it has something to do with emancipation...
